Austin's mom was from El Salvador and quite proud of her heritage, including the Spanish language. Meanwhile, bears have always played a special role in our little family. In fact, we often called our kiddos "little bears". So we love that our name lets us honor these important connections!

No. For now, our product is not waterproof. At its core, the Care’digan™ is meant to take the messes so your favorite clothes (and skin) don’t. So, we opted for a rib knit that stands up well to punishment, without the need for chemical treatments. And we’re optimistically watching new innovations in materials development, which include high-performance natural fabrics.

That’s why we designed The Care’digan™ to accommodate 1-2 layers of clothing or nothing at all underneath.
The Care’digan™ currently comes in a beautiful, luxe “oatmeal” colored mélange that is on-trend and subtly helps hide stains.
